Michael Furtado

Bio

Dr Michael Furtado works as a consultant on inclusive education. In addition to a PhD he holds qualifications in education, ethics, politics and religious education from Oxford, London, Strathclyde and Edith Cowan Universities. He also has a research Masters degree from the University of Western Australia and is widely published on the topic of Australian school funding policy. Dr Furtado has taught in both the public and private school sectors and at the Universities of Newcastle and Southern Queensland. He was for several years Education Officer (Social Justice), Brisbane Catholic Education.
