Peter Edwards is a Visiting Professor at UNSW@ADFA. He has recently published a Lowy Institute Paper, Permanent Friends? Historical Reflections on the Australian–American Alliance, and a biography of the influential public servant Sir Arthur Tange, entitled Arthur Tange: Last of the Mandarins (Allen & Unwin, 2006).
